I’ve listened to Mule from their inception, matter of fact I saw them in a small dive north of Detroit touring their first lp, talked with Woody for a bit that night. The new lp is a natural progression for the band in my opinion. I like it of course ( The river only flows one way) exploring slightly different directions while keeping it fresh. Thanks guys

So, finally had a chance to listen to Peace...Like A River and if you told me it was recorded in '73 I wouldn't doubt it and I'm really diggin it. This is solid rock 'n roll and probably their most pedestrian friendly album and stylistically expansive. The songs are somehow familiar but then again...they're new with catchy riffs, cool grooves and, as always, well thought out lyrics. The first notes of "Shake Our Way Out" I almost expected Leslie West on vocal but we get the equally iconic Billy Gibbons, there's a song that sounds like it could've been written by Greg Allman, "The River Only Flows One Way" is familiar reggae Mule with the darkness of the bayou, "After The Storm" sounds like it could've been written by the last itineration of The Bros. and Deep purple and, "Peace I Need" and "Long Time Coming" should be familiar stuff to all us old fans. I got the 2 disc cd and for the extra couple of bucks it's well worth it, solid Mule. Peace.

Warren is without Question a gifted song writer and has a great band to support it. I have every studio album and they all sound different which is incredible when you think about it.

Fantastic album. We don’t get to see you often in Australia but have seen you multiple times on each tour. We even came over for NYE 2015/2016 in NYC. You guys always deliver live and studio. This is your most diverse and includes some great guests. Keep on rockin’!

One of the best album to come out in a long time! Every song on this album touches your soul. Have heard a couple of songs from this album live and all I can say is wow! I recommend anyone who has not gotten this album or heard any songs on it to check it out. Yo will love it!

Although I have not been lucky enough to see them live I've been a fan since the first album. Although I do like the album and the musicianship continues to be outstanding, I miss more of the sound from the earlier work.

I love it. The two bonus discs were well worth waiting for, t rather than just getting it at the store.. I almost like the second disc Time of the Signs better. I loved hearing the Warren Haynes with Railroad Earth bonus disc. There’s plenty of great riffs, a lot of soul and tasteful jams. It’s exactly what we’d expect out of a new Govt. Mule release. I also loved the collaborations with Billy f Gibbons, Billy Bob Thornton, Calisse and Ivan Neville and Ruthie Foster
