Well, i think that through this opus, Warren Haynes is ridin'" the mule along the Mississippi. Slowly, but carrying the thought he's telling us stories about american life, specially south, and about "deep country" men, with humanity. Ridin' this river, he's writing every page from the book of the States-Eastside spine : Mississippi. Every song becomes one of the vertebras, and musical instruments make the spinal chord. Musically, outside of his usual register, he take us with him to complete our rock and roll journey discovering another side, or another inspiration source. I go with ! Warren and his partners are everytime at the best, as good when it's its own composition as when it's a cover. Very good job and very good feeling ! Each song got its paritcular mood and we can think to several situations, se come several kinds, and in this way, several artists come to my mind : Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Trumpet Black (Travis Hill), and many more. "Glory Road" is a jewel in this Box !
I'll enjoy seing Warren and Co in PARIS !
